Isn't that what everybody does? Have a baby and go through major home renovations at the same time? Bryan loves to test my patience. With the help of Bryan's friend, Wally, in August (when I was 4-5 months preggo), they replaced our nasty carpet with laminate flooring in our master bedroom. I spent 3 weeks sleeping on the living room floor. It was not pleasant.
So Bryan gained confidence with the successful completion of the floors in the bedroom and proclaimed he would do the floors by himself in the living room. In all honesty, I did not think there was a chance in H-E-double hockey sticks that he could possibly do it. BUT he is proving me wrong. With the help of his brother and the rest of the family cheering him on and being great supervisors, the floor is looking good. It is not finished (that is Bryan's weakness - finishing any project) but it is looking good and should be completed by this weekend. Our hallway in our house is very tricky so I hope this weekend goes well and my house can return to normal with great new floors!!!!
