No Doubt About It

As a breastfeeding mom, I am constantly questioning my "skills." For obvious reasons, one cannot see how much the baby is drinking, cannot measure how much the baby is getting per feeding or per day or whatever. We are told to count the baby's dirty diapers, but that never gave me much comfort. With Jillian, she was always on the small side so I was constantly wondering if my milk supply was sufficient or was I feeding her enough? were her nursing sessions long enough? etc..... The questions were endless but the point of all the questioning was "Is Mommy good enough?"

Well, with Rocco, there is no doubt about it, Mommy is good enough!!!!

We had Rocco's two week appt. this morning and after dropping to 7 lbs 10 ozs on his 4 day weigh in, this morning, Rocco weighed

9 lbs 5 ozs!!!!!!!

I cannot even do that math. I teach kindergarten remember??? But that is a lot of weight gained in 10 short days!!!!!! Way to go Mommy's milk!!!!

Here is the chubster in his second week:

First trip to church (Mommy took kiddos by herself as Daddy was working on the floors. We call that Super Mommy!!!)

Daddy got the kisses. What's up with that??

Jillian will NOT look at the camera as Beauty is on the TV (that is Sleeping Beauty for those of you who do not speak Jillian). Surprise, surpise, Rocco was not interested..

and sleeping as usual!!!
