Disney World Day 5 part 2

Well we are still on Day 5 and as you will see we renamed Day 5 - Rocco's day.  You'll see why.....

After Buzz, we had one FP left for the day.  It was Enchanted Tales with Belle.  The day was HOT!  Everyone was pretty tired.  Summer started talking that maybe she and her family were going to go on back to the hotel and take a nap (especially since Belle is a princess and this FP seemed a little girly for her boys.)

I was not going back to the hotel.  I had read in a book in my Disney World research that this was one of the best "secret" attractions that turns out to be super special.  I told her what I had read and she stuck it out and was so glad she did.  We ate a hot dog lunch next to the carousel in the middle of Fantasyland and we were ready to meet Belle.

We headed over and entered with no wait.  We didn't quite know what to expect except I knew this was not a "ride."  They took a group of kids into the library and explained what was happening.  The kids were going to put on a play for Belle.  They would practice first and then put on the real show.  So all the kids got a part, they practiced and then we went onto the "set" for the real performance.

Hadleigh was Phillipe (Belle's horse)

Jillian was Mrs. Potts...

Rocco was selected to be the Beast.  First he had to scare her with his terrible ROAR!!!!

Then he had to ask her to dinner and he started by taking a bow.

Next Belle asked the Beast to dance.  Rocco was so taken with Belle.  I start to cry every time I see his face in these pictures.  Every kid should feel so special !!!

He won Belle's heart!!!

Everybody celebrated with Belle at the end.

Best FP EVER!!!!!  Afterwards, we headed back to the hotel and took a nap.  That night we had reservations at Fort Wilderness for the Hoop De Doo Review.  It is so fun to ride the ferry over to the Fort.

As we waited to enter the theatre, the kids loved looking at all of the horses.

We had great seats right in front of the stage and the food was delicious!!!!

The show was fantastic!!!   So funny!  We were all laughing so hard (even the kids).  At one point in the show, the actors came by and started talking to KK.  They asked him to come up on stage but he said NO!!!  So she looked at Roc and asked him to come and he said OK.  Ha ha!!  A star is born!!!

So here he is as the "Texas Ranger"!!!  He played the part perfectly.  The actress kissed his cheek and he wiped it off and said YUCK with the perfect grossed-out face!!!  What a day this boy has had!!!!

But the day is not over yet!!!  After the show (where we lost Hadleigh's shoes) we headed back to Magic Kingdom for the lights and fireworks grand finale.

Somehow Bill pushed our way to the front of the crowd and we had a perfect view of the castle.

We watched the electrical parade.  It was fun!!  (and crowded and hot but still fun!)

Then one by one, each kid fell asleep.  It was AWESOME!!!!  It was like Bryan and I were on a date at Magic Kingdom!  There was no whining, no requests, no demands for food.  It was quiet and we watched the light/picture show on the castle and then enjoyed the fireworks.  It was bliss!!!

After the firewords, Bill broke up a fight between two women.  That was interesting.  Then we made our exit with 80,000 of our closest friends.  That's how many people they announced were in the park at that time.  Isn't that crazy!!  We got back to the hotel soooooo late but it was soooooo worth it!!!

Disney World Day 5 Part 1

Day 5 brings us back to the Magic Kingdom......This was our last full day and we did it right.  We filled it from morning to night so I am going to break it up into two parts......

Grammie, Poppy and I had breakfast reservations at Cinderella's castle with their Royal Highnesses Princess Jillian and Princess Hadleigh.

Every morning we take the Disney bus to the park.  This morning was the FIRST time we had some trouble.  We got on the bus with no troubles (as a matter of fact, the sweet driver played a trumpet announcement that there were princesses on the bus!!)  but at the next bus stop, somebody started complaining about slow buses and that people were stranded at another stop with a wheelchair rider and our bus driver decided to go rescue them.  Really nice for the bus driver but it made us late.  Late for our very important date with the princesses that my Mom had already pre-paid!!!!  Me and Mom about lost our mind on that bus.  It took forever!!!

We finally arrived at the park!!  We always buy the Memory Maker because the professionals really do a great job!!  I LOVE these pics of the girls.....

We raced as fast as a pregnant mommy could race in 100 degree weather, and told the people at the desk what had happened on the bus.  They were sooooo nice and understanding and said they would get us in with no problems!!!

In no time at all, we were escorted inside to meet the lovely Cinderella.  Seriously, there is nothing that makes me happier than seeing the girls' faces when they see Cinderella.  Especially Hadleigh this time, she was enthralled!!

We sat down and ordered our delicious breakfast and the parade of princesses began.  My mom and I just eat this place up!  While we were waiting, a man proposed to his girlfriend by the stained glass windows.  Everybody cheered!!!  We were crying!!  ha!!

Jillian's favorite princess came to visit our table first.......

This is the same Snow White as we saw last time.  She is the BEST Snow White ever.  She plays the character perfectly and talks so sweetly.  (She is my favorite for sure!!)

Here she is with my princesses two years ago!!  Amazing how time flies!!

The girls had been dying to meet Jasmine.

Ariel is definitely are next favorite.  She played with the girls forever and was very charming!!!  Hadleigh and Jillian just loved her!!!

As we walked out of the castle, who should we meet but the Fairy Godmother!!!

So then we changed the girls' clothes and we were off to explore.  The rest of our group was off riding cars so we went to New Fantasy Land to see what we could do!!  We went to ride Ariel's Under the Sea ride.  It was adorable.  There was NO line!  Hadleigh was having so much fun that we rode it twice with no wait.  Then next door, you could take your picture with Ariel in her mermaid tail.  My girls were in heaven!!

Dad was awesome this morning and rode the teacups with the girls over and over and over again!

Again the professionals do such a nice job....the girls got to "meet" Olaf and it was pretty cold!!

Next up, we met up with the rest of our crew and had our first FP to the Winnie the Pooh ride.  Classic!!!

Next FP was Buzz Lightyear's Space Spin!!!!

My family takes shooting games very seriously!  Look at our faces!!!  Ha ha!!

Afterwards we got to meet the real Buzz!!!!

We haven't even gotten to lunch yet!!  To be continued.......

The Final Baby Chapter

On Monday, October 6, 2014, I had a date.  I was to be at the hospital at 6 am to be induced.  Bryan and I were so excited.  For 9 months, we had resisted the temptation to find out the sex of baby #4.  It has been so hard as Bryan and I are "finder-outers" and I am a planner.  As you know, I like to plan the kids' rooms, clothes and the list could go on and on.

The process was slow.  I was dialating at a snail's pace.  Finally, I was feeling enough discomfort to get the epidural and that went fine and I just kept waiting.  Still moving super slow.  At some point in the afternoon, we were all sitting around the room chit-chatting - Bryan, my Mom, my Dad, my sister, and Bill, but things got a little weird.  I could hear them talking to me and asking me questions, but I couldn't respond.  I was feeling tired and almost like I was blacking out.  I hear the beep-beeps going crazy and the nurses come in and my blood pressure has dropped very very VERY low.  They quickly pump me full of fluids and give me some medicine to bring up my blood pressure.  Slowly but surely I came back to life.

I was stuck at 6 cm forever.  A nurse came in and said they are learning a new technique in nursing school these days and they were going to try it out on me.  OK????  They put me on my side almost all the way on my belly and hoisted one of my legs in a stirrup.  I looked crazy-weird.  They draped a huge sheet on me to let me keep some kind of dignity but I still looked like a circus tent.

BUT her magic trick worked.  I literally could feel the baby dropping in that strange position.  In no time at all, I was at 10 cm.  I pushed several times and the head came out.  I remember asking if the head had a lot of hair.  But then the body came out and everybody was scrambling to see the goods.  Summer yelled that it was a boy but the Doc said, "Ehh, no.  ITS A GIRL!!!!"

Here she is.....Channing Elyse Pearce.  7 lbs 2 ozs and 20 1/2 inches long.

Getting foot-printed....

My wonderful Italian doctor!!!

How lucky am I?  Dr. Carroll has delivered all 4 of my kids!!!  The kids were there within 10-15 minutes and had LOTS of questions.

They were very disturbed by all of the cords and machines I was hooked up to.  Rocco was truly worried and upset.  He started crying...really boo-hooing and Bryan had to take him out of the room.  Broke my heart.  You can see he is not happy in the pic.

I crashed Summer's birth day so she crashed mine!!!  That's how the Allen-Pearce girls roll!!!  She didn't know it but she wore the right color for the day!!

I love them so!!!

On Wednesday, they released us.  Channing has jaundice but so far, a mild case.  She loves sticking out her tongue and is cuter than words!!!

Mommy and Daddy were so ready to get home!

Disney World Day 4

Welcome back to my Disney review.  We are now entering Disney Studios!!  Lucky for you, this was the least amount of pictures I took on any day!  HA!

We arrived early (which seriously is the key to success at any Disney park.)  We had a FP for Toy Story Mania later in the day but wanted to ride it 2 times because it is the BEST.RIDE.EVER!!!!  We walked straight to the line and the wait was already 30-45 minutes.  Well, Mom, Dad, Jillian, Gavin, Bill and Summer all stayed and rode the ride and had a great time.....

Hadleigh wanted to see Buzz and Woody across the street and so we went and did that and it was a lot of fun!!!

Then she and I went to the Disney Jr. Live show.   She LOVED it.  It had Sophia the First, Jake and the Neverland Pirates and Doc McStuffins.  I loved it because it was inside in the air conditioning where I could sit down.  At one point in the show, it even snowed.  It was heaven!!!

Bryan and Roc ventured out to the Tower of Terror!!!  My little Roc is the bravest thing ever!!!  Bryan said he smiled the entire ride.  They are on the left in the pic.

We all met up to watch the Little Mermaid show.  Again awesome because inside and air-conditioned!!!  With a little bit of rain at the end, we were all feeling refreshed!!  Then the gang went back to Toy Story Mania for our FP+.

Got our 3D glasses on!!!

We went to the Muppets 3D show and then had lunch at the 50s Prime Time Diner.  The food was great but the service was so-so.  Their schtick was to be "rude."  For example, yelling at the kids for having their elbows on the table or for not cleaning off their plates.  I just didn't really like that atmosphere.  Oh well!!!

We went back to the hotel that day and took a nap.  We took a pic with Olaf before we left....

That night, we had double reservations for Hollywood & Vine with all of the Disney Jr. characters and then show tickets to Fantasmic.  I MESSED UP big time.  First of all, the Disney Jr. characters only come to breakfast and lunch.....NOT dinner.  Grrrr!!   Food was again good but kids totally disappointed in not seeing Jake and Sophia and Doc McStuffins.

Then the show Fantasmic - we had heard UH-MA-ZING things about this show.  BUT all of us were less than impressed.  It started off with the story of Pocohantes.  Really???  Does anybody watch that movie?  She is not a princess!!!!

Then there was fire and lights and more fire.  The show started at 8:00 and was probably 95 degrees.  With the fire, seriously it was over 100 degrees and we were miserable.

The overall themes was Disney villians but I did not think it was well done.  The finale had all kinds of characters on a boat.  Great!

As we were leaving, the fireworks show was going on and it was set to the music of Frozen!
Now that was amazing!!!!!
