Today is Sunday. As is our usual Sunday morning routine, we watched Sesame Street in bed (which I really enjoyed this morning b/c D*avid B*eckham was playing soccer with E*lmo), then I made waffles and then we started getting ready for church. Usually Bryan dresses Jillian on Sunday, but he was playing golf with some friends this morning so I was on my own. I realized I did not have time to shower and shave my legs so a dress for me was out of the question. I ironed a nice shirt and pair of capris and I was ready to go. Then it was Jillian's turn to get ready. I got out an adorable purple dress which was monogrammed with her initials. She started having a fit. She began flinging her arms, throwing her head back and kicking her legs. She looked straight into my eyes and said, "Mommy, pants." Jillian made it very clear she was NOT wearing a dress to church this morning. So I had no choice but to put the adorable dress away in her closet and get out a very cute pants outfit. Jillian was as happy as a clam for the rest of the morning. Here is my big girl in her pants!!
Of course she has to ham it up for the camera!
My sister is taking Jillian (without a nap) to the circus with her little cousins so I'll let you know how it goes.
