Sharing the Good News
Yesterday afternoon, my Mom and I took Hadleigh to the pediatric orthopaedic. Our appointment was at 1:30 and we waited and waited and waited. The Dr. came in and examined Hadleigh and then sent us off for x-rays. She was so good during the entire visit.
Then the x-ray tech set up the x-rays on the screen for the dr. to look at then she left the room. Why did she do that?? Mom and I were going over the x-ray with a fine tooth comb and we had Hadleigh diagnosed with all sorts of stuff when the dr. finally came in.
The dr. said everything looks NORMAL!!! SHE IS FINE!! RELAX!! GIVE HER TIME TO LEARN HOW TO WALK. The average baby walks around 14 months. He couldn't explain why Hadleigh is not using her left leg when crawling but as far as her hips are concerned, the hips look great!!! YAY!!! Such awesome news!! Hadleigh was happy about that!!

He was climbing all over the place.
Jillian was honing her skills on the monkey bars and can now successfully get all the way across!! Very impressive!!

That Boy is Mine!!
Our Spring Break is off to an awesme start because Rocco has decided to use the potty!!!!!!!

Here are the sisters reading some books!!!!I thougtht it was a fluke but Rocco has had such a monumental week. That boy of mine has decided he wants to be a big boy and use the potty. He is doing ALL of his business in the potty and sometimes without anybody even asking!!!! What a difference a week makes!!!! We are all soooooooo proud of him!! We got him more underwear and he wanted Thomas!!!
but he said I could NOT take any pictures of him wearing the underwear!! OK!! The only time I have to put a diaper on him is at night. At naptime, he does pretty well (only a couple of accidents)
Now remember that age when your sweet little baby becomes mobile and all of a sudden they are into EVERYTHING???? Yea, Hadleigh just reached that age. Grrr! They get into things you didn't even think possible!!!
She likes Max & Ruby like the other two!!!
What?? Mommy you do not think I should be this close to the TV???

Updated
I didn't want to leave ya'll hanging....
Not the news we wanted to hear.
Dr. is worried about her hip. Bryan said the Dr. watched Hadleigh scoot and pull up. The dr. held on to her and guided her to walk. Then took off her diaper and looked at the joints of her hips to her leg. Long story short, Dr. does not think they are symmetrical.
Dr. referred us to an orthopaedic.
Yes, I have been crying. Yes, I will be OK. She brings me such joy. I am glad I have time off to deal with all of this.

Brrrrr!!!
Well, it does not feel like the start of Spring Break!!!! This front brought some chilly weather and some killer wind.
Please say a little prayer for Hadleigh-boo this morning. Her physical therapist recommended we take her back to the doctor because she wants to rule out any physical problems with her left leg. She is still not using it (her left leg) when scooting across the floor. Also when she pulls herself to a standing position, she stands with her feet out (very duck-toed). The therapist thought wearing shoes would naturally correct this problem but it hasn't improved it at all.
So Bryan is taking her to the doc this morning and I am praying we get some good news that she is developing normally. Hopefully, this can all be fixed with some hard work at therapy.
I have 8 hours of school and then I have some freedom!!! I am counting down the minutes!!!

Rocco's Potty Humor
As we are approaching Rocco's 3 year 2 month birthday and
since Rocco still refuses to use the potty
(can you picture me banging my head against the wall??),
I thought I would share his potty humor:
Rocco: (in a very serious voice, with a very serious face) Mommy, where does a toot come from?
Mommy: laughing so hard on the inside and trying to think what to say. Before I can get an answer out....
Rocco: Oh Mommy, I know. I know it does not come out your pee-pee.
Rocco: Mommy, when I grow up I want to be a teacher just like you.
Mommy: heart melting and I literally saw an outloud "Awwww, Rocco."
Rocco: I want to be a teacher so that I can teach my pee-pee to like my big boy underwear.
As I am putting on my make-up before work, I make Rocco sit on a potty for a minute. I know it is a minute because we put on a timer.
Rocco: (Yelling at the top of his lungs) Mommy, going potty is so boring!!
Mommy: Well, maybe if you actually went potty it wouldn't be so boring!!
Rocco: No Mommy, I don't think so!
I DO NOT KNOW WHAT I AM GOING TO DO WITH HIM!!!!!!
Here is a Jillian story....
In November, Grammie bought Jillian some new jeans. The girl does not wear any jeans and refused to wear this pair as well. Then Jillian woke up Monday morning and declared to the world that she wanted to wear the pair of jeans. First we had to find them as November was a while ago. Then we found them and she paired it with a cute shirt and a fur vest.
Our neighbor was outside walking the dog and Jillian tells Ms. Anna,
"Miss Anna, look at my new jeans. I am so stinkin' cute. I am so cute I could hit myself."
I have no idea where she gets that!!! ha ha!!
I need this humor this week as school is full of testing and the test books are incorrect and the kids are wild. 3 more days and I get a break!!!!
