What a day!

We started our Sunday EARLY. Daddy had to work. Mama was on her own. Mama had to get all three kids fed and dressed in their Sunday best for Palm Sunday. Mama had to look nice too for church as she was heading up the annual Easter egg hunt for approximately 250 children and 3,000 eggs (seriously - totally insane - I volunteered before I knew I was pregnant!!)

Our morning went pretty well. Aside from their cheesy smiles, they look awesome!!!

For eight weeks, Hadleigh has slept peacefully through church -not a peep. Of course, this Sunday when she knew I had to focus on the other kids, she was fussy. I had to juggle a camera. My mom had a camera too. Jillian rocked it in the palm processional but I did not capture any photos in focus. Darn those digital cameras!!

Things get complicated with three kids. Jillian graduated to the 4-6 yr old group so Poppy went with her.

Rocco was in the baby group and I chased him. Mom had Hadleigh who had finally konked out!

We had some older kid invaders that stole a lot of the eggs so my kids did not get much! They will probably not ask me to head it up next year due to the older kid invasion. Clearly they need to hone their reading skills as the groups were clearly marked. Oh well!

I finally got a picture with me in it!!!

Then we got home and they went through their loot. Jillian showing off her palm.

This picture cracks me up! This is Palm Sunday gone bad. We encouraged all the parents to not stuff the eggs with candy so we got a lot of other stuff like silly bands which Rocco decided looked better in his mouth.

They got tatoos!

They also got a stamp which they proceeded to stamp themselves EVERYWHERE!!!!

My favorite picture of the day - Rocco did such a great job stamping his face and showing off his "Fisher of Men" tatoo.

Whew! I am exhausted! Thank goodness this is a 4 day work week because I need a rest! Oh right, I have 3 kids now. There is no such thing as rest!!!!

As Bryan and I continue to discuss number 2, I am constantly amazed by posts such as this! I know it's not always easy, but you really do seem to be handling it ALL and doing so well. Happy (early!) Easter.
