The traffic up to Austin was AWFUL!!!!! Even though we left 3 hours in advance of game time, the trip, which usually takes an hour, took us over 2! The kids were not happy and my mom (the reigning queen of this fam) was NOT happy!!!
We got to the game and the men dropped us women off with the kids. My mom was trying to lead us through the gates and ramps to find our seats. It felt like we walked for days and up 17 ramps carrying 4 children (and 1 in utero) and we still had not reached our seats!!!! We were exhausted.
BUT out of the corner of my eye, I saw something!!!! The Texas Pom squad was gathered under the grandstands. I yelled to my Mom to stop and bring the kids back. With a big roll of her eyes (we Allen women are big eye rollers) and a very annoyed look on her face, she brought the kids back to wear I was standing.
The trip to Austin was well worth the stress in the next few moments. I bent down and picked Jillian up and asked her if she wanted to meet the Texas cheerleaders. Her face lit up like the 4th of July. I walked her over and together we met some of the nicest (and the most beautiful) Southern girls in the State of TX. Look at her face!!!!!!

Now, my Roc, he is NOBODY'S fool!!!!!! Did I mention these girls were gorgeous???? He could not take his eyes off of these cheerleaders!!! I could NOT get him to look at the camera. If I were smarter, I should have had some of the cheerleaders stand behind my camera!!!!

After we left the cheerleaders, Jillian gave me the BIGGEST hug and said, "Mommy, I got to hold the cheerleaders' pom-poms and I am so happy!!! Done!! Trip worth it!! Made the 3 year old happy!!!!
So we made it to our seats and saw the TX band put on its show!!! Very sad to report that this was the best TX looked all night!!!!

Rocco was NOT impressed with the Longhorns' 3 field goals in the first half. He was more interested in climbing under everyone's legs.
