Start of Summer

Summer has a good friend that works for Marriott and got us a great deal on some rooms at the JW about 10 minutes from our house for a "relaxin" start to our summer.  We checked in and the kids made themselves right at home!!

The kids could entertain themselves with selfies for hours!!!  My girls and my KK.  He loves me so.

This is me and the Roc.  Different vibe!!

Lord, this girl is so sassy and spunky!!!  Makes everybody laugh!!

The JW is fantastic.  Lots of pools, lazy river, 3 huge water slides, outdoor movie in the pool, smores by the fire pit, lots of activities for the kids.  We even got to see an African animal exhibit and we touched a snake, saw a hedgehog, warthog.

Lots of swimming....

Posing by the waterfall.......

This was the "superhero" pose....  Hadleigh makes me laugh like crazy....

The silly pose.....

Another silly pose....

One last pic...my camera fogged up...about to get in the lazy river...

Not really a "relaxin" time but the food was great and the company was fantastic and I think it is going to be a great summer!!!!

Field Day

Last week, Jillian had her 1st grade Field Day.  She was suffering from a virus with a low grade fever but she pushed through it and had fun!!

With some of her classmates in the clothesline race.....

Horseshoe toss....

Enjoying a mid-day snack....

Water wars.....

Basketball throw.....

After the events, she crashed hard, still had that low fever and Bryan had to take her home.  Jillian's class came in 2nd place and my class came in last ;-(  Too Bad they did not have an event for the best readers - we would have totally won that event!!!!!!

My Big Boy

Last week, Rocco hit some MAJOR milestones!!!  His school hosted a precious preK graduation ceremony.  His school does a FANTASTIC job with different celebrations throughout the year.  We met in the sanctuary, the "graduating" class marched in and sang several songs.  Rocco always takes these things very seriously and does a great job.

They had an adorable slide show....

Quite a difference 5 years makes......

After the program, they were served lunch and posed for pictures!

On Saturday, Rocco had his basketball showcase!

He did great!!  Mommy completed his kindergarten registration packet at "big" school and he is ready to go!!!!!  "Big" school may not quite be ready for such a dynamo!!!

So proud of him!!!

Guess what????

So guess what little girl will STILL not use the potty?

Guess what little girl has stopped participating in dance class and sucks her thumb the WHOLE time?

Guess what little girl is going to be a big sister?  ;-)

This is not the picture I wanted to use but I am having trouble again uploading any pictures? I am technically challenged obviously!

Baby#4 coming at you approximately October 12.

Guess what big boy I registered for kindergarten this morning???  Sigh.....

He is such an awesome dude.  He is sweet and kind and shares with Hadleigh even though she NEVER will share with him.  His pre-K graduation is next week.  Ahhhhh!

Jillian I have no picture of.....epic fail.  But she tried out for the school talent show yesterday.  She is singing a solo of Mean by Taylor Swift.  I cried like a fool just cuz she has the courage to get up and do it by herself.  Where does she get that??

April Re-Cap

So on Good Friday we usually dye Easter eggs, I keep hoping the kids will forget about this tradition but this year, Rocco would NOT let it go so we dyed.  Usually, I make them dye eggs naked.  Seriously, I love their clothes too much for anything to get on them.  BUT since they are getting older, I let them pick one old pajama t-shirt and underwear and we got started.

I think they did a GREAT job!!!

This little girl also worked on her potty-training.  EPIC FAIL!!!  No action in the potty but she did pee several times on the floor.  She is 3 years 2 months with no success at home.  She will go at school with her classmates but I am starting to think the teacher is LYING!!!!

The Easter Bunny delivered goodies and Mickey Mouse t-shirts because we are going to DISNEYWORLD!!!  I LOVE that Easter bunny!

Hadleigh doesn't quite get it!!!  Miss Grumpy!

Church-time!  My sweet young lady!

Look at my stud muffin!  Seriously, he looked so handsome.  I just wanted to eat him up.  He also said the prayer at lunch and just brought tears to your eyes.

And this ham!!!  Has EVERYONE wrapped around her finger!!!

Ha!!  This was KK after church at my Mom's!  Little stinker would not smile for me!

Easter egg hunt at my in-laws!  The kids go nuts!!!!

Looking at their goodies!!!!

Yea I know...MIA

I realize I have been MIA for a loooong time.  I really have no good excuse.  We have had lots of exciting things going on but I somehow cannot find the time to blog about it.

Back in February, our school recognized some of the highest readers.  They were to dress like "movie stars" and walk the "red carpet."  Jillian making her entrance.

Jillian and several other cutie-pies read over 300 books to win the top honors at the party!!!

Here she is posing with her "Oscar" on the red carpet.  She wanted to know why it didn't have clothes.  Ha!!!

In March, we recycled our Cat in the Hat clothes in celebration of Dr. Seuss's birthday.  Of course, they were the cutest kids in school.

At the beginning of March, we took our 1st grade field trip.  All Jillian cares about is riding the bus.  Only time all year!

Some of her cutie-pie classmates.

The ball pit!

Clowning in the store!

Doing a science experiment with soap and dry ice.....

Here she is holding her bubble!

I will try and be better about blogging.  I know, I know.  I've said that before!
