Me too
Now I've got it. I feel awful. I am puking and trying to finish my last thirty minutes teaching 20 5 year olds. Somebody shoot me!
Week 2 - No MDO
Unfortunately, Jillian missed both days of MDO this week because she is throwing up. We took her to the doctor on Tuesday and the doc said it is likely just a stomach virus. She is still very low on the weight percentile chart but the doctor says since she always has been, they are not going to worry about it unless she falls off the weight chart. On Wednesday, she was still throwing up and added dirrhea to her list of ailments. I talked to a nurse and we are doing our best to follow her instructions of an all starch diet to get Jillian to stop throwing up. Jillian was still sleeping when I went to work this morning but I am hoping there will be no throwing up today. I know my Dad is tired of getting thrown up on.
In other news, Bryan has caught the bug. He spent all night throwing up. I really hope everybody is better by the weekend. There is only so much throw up a person can take!!!

20 is the number for the weekend
Jillian turned 20 months yesterday. She is getting to be such a big girl but still not in size. She is still wearing 12-18 months clothes and can still fit into some 9 months clothes. She is a little peanut but not because she doesn't eat. The girl loves carrots, carrots and carrots!!! She will also eat green beans, cheese, avacados, bananas, some turkey and a little chicken. Grammie loves to give her H*ershey K*isses and Daddy loves to give her Z*ebra Cakes. She definately has Mommy's sweet tooth. She loves reading books. Her favorites are Brown Bear, Polar Bear, Barney Goes to the Zoo, and Mr. Brown Can Moo. She loves wearing bows in her hair and gets upset when Mommy forgets to put one in her hair.

The other milestone is for the baby on the way. I am 20 weeks today. I am still not showing a great deal but I can feel him/her moving all of the time. It is definately a squirmer. Our next appointment is on Sept. 22. We will definitely be finding out the sex. Bryan and I are impatient people!! We wanted to know yesterday.

Mozarts in the making!
On Friday night, we invited Jillian's godparents and their three kids over for dinner. Four kids under the age of 5 is a lot to handle but they have such a good time together. Jillian is the youngest by 4 months and loves the threesome and follows them around like a puppy dog. Jillian did get to introduce them to her piano and they "played a sonata" for a good thirty minutes. So stinking cute.!

Snap!
I know everybody thinks their kid is the smartest thing in town, but my Jillian is a smarty pants! Take a look at the video and try to tell me she is not a genius. You cannot do it. This girl is a genius!!

Mother's Day Out
Today was Jillian's first day at Mother's Day Out. Well, we actually call it Poppy's Day Out since my dad watches Jillian and he is the one that needs the break. We were all a little nervous because she can suffer from stranger anxiety but my dad said she did great! She did not cry at all and seemed happy to be playing with all of the new toys. There are 4 boys and 1 other girl in the class and today the little girl wasn't there so there were only 4 other kids in the class. Pretty good teacher-student ratio. The teacher told my dad that Jillian was "super smart" and was impressed she knew all of her colors. Yay!!! I am so glad it went well.
My dad took a couple of pictures of Jillian in her new class. She looks like such a big girl!!!

Astros Obsession
My dad is obsessed with the H*ouston A*stros - always has been and always will be. My mom also loves the Astros. During our childhood, my sister and I were taught to worship the Astros and now my dad is teaching Jillian to be just as obsessed. She can already sing a little bit of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." A couple of weeks ago, the Astros were on a roll. Jillian was thrilled!!!! My dad just sent me this pictures. It cracks me up!!!!
